We had the best experience at Rose’s Luxury on Valentine’s Day Starting from the warm welcome at the host stand to our fabulous server, Kae, to their somm who had interesting wine stories to share — they were all so friendly and helpful. As for the food, we loved every dish we had. From the Pork and Lychee salad, the Lady and the Tramp pasta, the Baby Orca Seafood Tower, and the Beef Tenderloin — every bite was delightful. It was a nice touch to get a take-home treat of cupcakes and tiara. We had the best time and will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality!
A very solid 4.5 out of 5. Rounding up because the service is just so friendly and top-notch. I was a walk-in and sat at the bar on a Thursday night and got the tasting menu. Was overall pleasantly surprised with all the food given. I think it's an amazing value for all of the food you are given. I definitely left very full. Things that I am not a huge fan of such as cauliflower, raisins, etc I gobbled up because they were so we'll prepared. I thought the Happy Meal was well presented but was the miss on the menu. Burger was awesome but I thought it just a step above Shake Shack, for example. Fries also had good seasoning but we're incredibly salty. The other dishes I had were all really good and I'll definitely return.
This was one of the best meals I've had ina whole. I woke up today thinking of the lychee salad and the sweet pea pasta. The service was great and the food was really good. I wish the portions were a bit bigger (more salad and pasta) and one vegetarian option as the main entree. The dessert dishes were too big. But the presentation for it all was amazing.
This place is super cute and worth it! The service is impeccable. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. I loved the explanations followed by delicious food! The drinks are phenomenal and the bartender was super friendly! (He had like blonde hair and brows and I believe). But he was great! Their wagyu burger with the truffle is a big hit! I loved it and the presentation was phenomenal. Definitely a dc gem!
Never fails! Rose's Luxury is a must! The good was amazing! I'm giving 4 stars because the kitchen did mess up the timing of our food across all courses. There was three of us and they would bring out dishes for 1 or 2 of the party. Waiting for the remaining dish meant that someone ate an almost cold dish. But our server was amazing and apologized for the inconvenience. I would still recommend.
What’s not to love about Rose’s Luxury? My husband took me here for my birthday yesterday evening. The hosts were so welcoming and just as joyful as I was to be there (the girls know how to hype a girl) The food was AMAZING! Every single dish that arrived to our table was delicious . Two of my favorites, cacio e pepe . Perfectly cook pasta in the most amazing sauce (the right way, the only way). And of course the most amazing burger there could ever be, (don’t skip the truffle) You will NOT leave hungry. The drinks... why isn’t anyone talking about the drinks!!? The coquito frappe was like a warm hug from my island. The mocktails are equally as good. The costumer service was top notch, but what made my heart happy (other than the food) was that I saw how beautiful the sense comradery is palpable among those working at Rose’s. And that makes the experience outstanding. Mel, our waitress was warm, funny and answering every question we had. The kitchen works absolutely in harmony (never seen anything like it) Thank you to everyone who made our first but not our last experience so wonderful, you made my birthday so special! No doubt about it, we will be back!
We’ve been wanting to go to Rose’s and we finally made the reservation. We came from North Carolina for the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival and for Rose’s and to celebrate.. We arrived around 10 minutes early and they were able to seat us. From that moment until nearly two hours later there was a whirlwind of staff at our beck and call, it seemed. Our water glasses were always full and yet we were never disturbed. Our dishes were beautiful and very well described. The staff was knowledgeable and detailed our food experience with each dish. There were interesting flavor combinations and unexpected ingredients that I loved exploring. Occasionally a complimentary dish would arrive and surprise us! Rose’s takes comfort food to the next level. We sat as the chef’s table to watch the food preparation. I’m so glad we did. It was fun watching the dishes come together and catch the different aromas floating by. Roses has a relaxed, casual vibe. The staff is also casually dressed and I appreciate that. Rose’s is what makes a night memorable. The staff is impeccable, the culinary experience was fantastic and I can’t wait to go again. I recommend the Pork and Lychee Salad! Get it! You won’t regret it. There were so many great dishes! Dessert was the highlight of the evening. We were brought a wonderful dessert with a light show atop. I can’t remember the name but it was quite tasty. We left Rose’s with a breakfast bag of two yummy muffins and two hibiscus and blood orange juices. That was the best juice I’ve had! Not too tart, not too sweet. I’d buy that for home. If you’re thinking of hitting up Rose’s for dinner, go ahead and make that reservation.
An absolute delight from start to finish! We like to try new restaurants for special events and Roses did not disappoint. The food was spectacular from the madeleines to the massive dessert. The flavors of each dish were surprising and crazy good. The only thing I would say that was remotely negative is that a few of the courses were a little on the cool side. It didn’t take away from the taste but could have been slightly warmer. They sent us home with some juice and muffins for the morning—also outstanding. This was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday!! We will definitely be back! PS— Shout out to the bartender that made our meal fun and relaxing. Actually the whole staff was on point. We never had to ask for anything. It just appeared.
